      This shear bolt or safety bolt is designed and engineered to replace the original factory overload shear bolt. The main shank on this safety bolt is 12mm (.47") in diameter, except where it is undercut. It is 65mm (2-9/16") long below the head. It has an M12 x 1mm thread with a 17mm hex head. Included with each of these shear bolts is a mating hex nut (nut 205517).

       

      Note that some of the early Polar 107 cutters did not use this shear bolt but used a smaller (10mm diameter x 65mm long) shear bolt with a cross drilled hole.
